Network Consolidation

Notice to Quit

As network operators seek to improve the quality of their networks whilst looking for opportunities to reduce operating costs, many are choosing site consolidation with other operators as a means of reducing the overall number of sites within their property portfolio thus reducing their exposure to annual rents and operational costs.

Where there is the choice of two or more sites that suit the coverage requirements, an opportunity exists to renegotiate the terms for the consolidated site, and to legally exit from the sites that are no longer required – issuing a “Notice to Quit”.

One Network Services skilled negotiators have a proven method for leveraging the need for a reduction in sites against the need for increased equipment rights on retained sites and have in many circumstances negotiated substantive increased equipment rights whilst simultaneously negotiating a reduction in annual rent.

1NS has offered this service in a variety of commercial packages including a largely incentive payment driven scheme for one infrastructure operator.
